Oppo Reno6 5G under review

The Oppo Reno6 5G arrived in May, but it took the company more than three months to deliver the phone outside of China. Now that it’s available in Europe and other markets, we have a review unit.

The Reno6 5G has a solid Dimensity 900 chipset, a 6.43” AMOLED and a super fast 65W SuperVOOC charging.

We received a shiny mint box that includes a Starry Black smartphone, a SuperVOOC 2.0 65W fast charger, a USB cable, USB-C headphones and even has a transparent case.

The Reno 6 5G fits in nicely with its weight of 182 grams; it’s lighter than expected and has great grip thanks to its flat sides. The Starry Black color is lovely too – yes, the bezel is plastic, but it does come with a dark blue glow at certain angles.

We now set out to investigate whether the Reno6 does well enough in our tests to justify its €499 price tag, and we’ll report back in our full review. Stay tuned!
