The Chinese smartphone maker OPPO will announce its Find X3 series of smartphones in a week and a half. Below that, according to recent rumors, is the Find X3 Pro, which wants to distinguish itself with a ‘microscope camera’.
The Chinese manufacturer has one YouTube link with a live stream put online and it mentions a presentation on Thursday 11 March at 12.30 am Dutch time. The presentation thus takes place around the time when OPPO presented the Find X2 series last year; this also happened in the first half of March.
The device would have a 6.7 “screen with a 1440p resolution, with a refresh rate of 120Hz. In marketing material, OPPO would refer to the microscope camera as” 25x zoom “, which the manufacturer probably refers to as magnifying small objects. The exact magnification that the camera offers is not yet clear, and the OPPO Find X3 Pro is said to contain two 50-megapixel sensors from Sony that have not yet been announced.
The smartphone’s soc is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. That is the latest soc from the American chip designer for high-end smartphones and is, among other things, in the Wed 11 from competitor Xiaomi.
