Oppo and Hasselblad Collaborate to Develop Mobile Imaging Technology

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTAOppo and Hasselblad will develop color technology to create mobile photography experience which is better with Hasselblad Camera for Mobile.

Partnership for the next 3 years in developing the best camera technology that will be embedded in the Find series phones.

Since joining Oppo and OnePlus, research and development of both brands is geared towards maximizing efficiency and improving user experience and Oppo will elevate the strategic partnership to the corporate level.

“This partnership is to provide the legendary Hasselblad mobile imaging experience to more users around the world. Color performance in cameras is the main focus of Oppo and Hasselblad. We are excited to develop Hasselblad Camera for Mobile together,” said Pete Lau, Chief Product Officer Oppo in a statement, Friday (18/2/2022).

Following the launch of the MariSilicon X NPU as the first self-developed imaging technology, Oppo and Hasselblad will develop advanced imaging solutions through research and development collaboration to deliver a more natural color display.

Natural Color Calibration Technology from Hasselblad allows the camera to capture skin tones precisely when shooting.

The two companies started by improving their natural color tuning software for better color calibration solutions, and developing technologies that could set new benchmarks for color performance in smartphone cameras.

Color performance is more natural and consistent for all conditions and can be applied across camera systems Oppo. This technology will be introduced for the first time as a new feature in the Find X series in the first quarter of 2022.
