As part of the presidential election, candidate Emmanuel Macron has chosen to make education one of the strategic priorities for his next term. He does not hesitate to formulate proposals which may seem divisive, such as that of the autonomy of educational establishments which would aim in particular to give more powers to heads of establishments. Some cry out for the privatization of the French education system.
