OpenAI received feedback from users who would like to use artificial intelligence on the go, so the official ChatGPT app for iOS was created.

The app is free and ad-free, but its listing tells you that it collects your user and diagnostic data, identifiers, contact information, and user content. However, this is mainly due to the fact that you have to log in to the mobile application under your OpenAI account. The history of all chats can thus be synchronized between all the devices you use. The application also includes the Whisper module, which is an open-source system for voice recognition, so you can communicate with mobile ChatGPT, not only by text, but also by your own voice.

Once again, users with a ChatGPT Plus subscription have exclusive access to the most advanced GPT-4 system, early access to new features, and faster response time when generating responses on the iOS platform. In addition, everything will work much more directly than the previously used web interface, which was until now the only option to start ChatGPT on iPhones in the “official” way. That is, if we do not count various third-party applications that rather want to make a living from the current phenomenon.

Even on a smartphone, ChatGPT can do the same thing as on a desktop. You can expect from him quick responses, advice, inspiration, help with work (brief text content, technical assistance, etc.), and much more.

Currently, the application is available for iOS in the US, in the coming weeks, the availability of the application should be extended to other countries around the world. The same application should be available on Android very soon, according to OpenAI, the competing platform is “next”. As soon as ChatGPT is available in the Czech Republic, you will be able to use it free download from the App Store.
