The new season of the German Cup this season was started by the country’s grand Munich “Bayern”, which played with the Latvian midfielder Daniel Ontuzans and several new players in the application with the result 3: 0 (2: 0) against the fifth league club “Duren”.

For Ontzhan, this was the first game in which he was included in the Bayern application since July 2019, when the Latvian went out on the pitch in a test match against London’s Arsenal.

Ontužāns entered the game for fc as the match clock showed 87 minutes. Latvian replaced Armindo Siebu after 67 minutes, replacing Douglas Kostas. Siebs was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. Ontužāns replaced him.

In the short time allotted to him, the Latvian did not stand out with remarkable actions. However, he gave some accurate passes and did not cause any trouble. Overall, Bayern’s first team was a few minutes.

Bayern scored two goals for Maxim Suppo-Moting, but with another naked Thomas Miller stood out. The Munich club’s core team includes first-team players such as Nicholas Zyle, Jerome Boateng, Alfonso Davis, Havi Martiness, Miller, Costa and Schupo-Moting.

Ontzhan, on the other hand, was played with Davis and Martines, as the other Bayern stars had already been replaced by the time he came on the pitch.

Last season, 20-year-old Ontužāns spent the season with the Swiss team “St. Gallen, ”but did not play for a minute. He has now returned to Bayern, where he is in the Bayern II, playing in the third league.

However, Bayern’s main team can call players up at any time. This was the time when a number of new players were invited to the game.

Born in Vangaži, Ontužāns does not understand the Latvian language, but he has chosen to represent the Latvian team instead of Germany.
