We are talking about Denis Kinzersky, a graduate of the Physics and Mathematics School of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev. He took five tests. He received 200 points in mathematics, biology and chemistry, 196 points in the Ukrainian language, and 188 points in English.
The applicant said that he prepared for each subject differently: a school teacher helped in biology, he also completed online courses, prepared himself for chemistry, sometimes a teacher helped, and at the end there were five lessons with a tutor.
“I also prepared a little for the Ukrainian language with a tutor. I needed help expressing my own opinion. At VNO this task was difficult for me, because it requires creativity, and I am not like that. I need a lot of time to beautifully form and describe my own opinion , so I immediately wrote in clean copy, without a draft, otherwise I would not have had time, “he said.
At the same time, according to Kinzersky, he almost did not prepare for testing in mathematics and English, since there was a strong program in these subjects in the lyceum and there they were already preparing for the UPE.
“In mathematics, the tasks were easier than usual. That is why we managed to get 200 points. On various ancient tests, the problems were really much more difficult. This year everything was simple,” he said.
The applicant plans to enter the Institute of High Technologies of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, but has not yet decided on the Faculty of Chemistry or Biology.
The main session of the UPE was held from May 21 to June 15. June 29 additional session started for those who, for good reasons, could not attend the main one. It will run until July 14 inclusive.
