There has been talk of the first foldable Apple device for some time: it seems increasingly expensive even by Apple standards.
It has long been rumored that Apple would enter the foldable gadget market and not too long ago it was revealed that it would not be with a foldable iPhone, but with a foldable iPad. According to The Elec, when it hits the market, the iPad mini model will be gone forever.
Sources of the famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo according to otherwise, the foldable iPad will be very expensive, even by Apple standards. In the meantime, however, there will be another mini tablet, which could arrive at the end of 2023 or the first half of 2024, with an A16 or A17 chip. In the future, iPad production could take place more in India, given the problems arising from the closure of Chinese factories.
Apple will reportedly start with a foldable iPad because it’s less risky than a foldable iPhone. We can see the first results of the work in 2024, presumably.
