OneRepublic Releases Catchy New Single "RUNAWAY" for Summer Festivals

There are few modern bands that have as many hits to their credit as OneRepublic. The American pop rock band has in recent years with songs such as “Counting Stars“, “Secretsand “Sunshine”, made especially for the film Clifford the Big Red Dog was released, more than proved that they can produce one stunner after another. When they were asked again in 2022 to help with the soundtrack of a film, they responded with “I Ain’t Worried” once again a big bang. Now the band is back with their latest single “RUNAWAY”, which will be released just in time for the busy festival summer.

If you are still not in the summer mood during these hot days, “RUNAWAY” will change that immediately. The song is filled from head to toe with light guitar riffs, sing-along vocals and fine tunes. Although OneRepublic takes a different direction during “RUNAWAY” than they have taken during the previous works, the single is very catchy. Add to that a video clip that is full of atmospheric images of tropical South Asia and you get the perfect summer hit cocktail. As far as we’re concerned, this cocktail tastes more than fine and has set our sights on another serving.

OneRepublic has a busy summer ahead, full of festival performances throughout Europe. Of course they also come to the Low Countries with performances Werchter Boutique in Pinkpop.
