A man has been taken to hospital after inhaling smoke in connection with a fire in an apartment in Oslo. The fire is extinguished.
– The fire has been extinguished and the fire service has started with ventilation. A man, who was in the fire apartment, is taken to hospital after inhaling smoke. A woman, who was in the apartment above, was taken to the emergency department for treatment, the Oslo police district announced on Twitter at 9pm on Monday.
The fire is said to have started in connection with a wine cabinet inside a storage room, the Oslo police further informs
– Several apartments have to be washed down due to smoke, and the residents involved have been informed of this, they say.
It was at 20:55 on Monday evening that the Oslo police district reported a fire in an apartment block in Rustadgrenda in Oslo. Black smoke is said to have come out of a window on the second floor.
In connection with the fire alarm going off in the entire block, several people evacuated the building, Oslo Police District tweeted in connection with the fire.
