Eagle-eyed fans recently noticed that a Cyberpunk 2077 character had a subtle Radiohead tattoo.
Judy Alvarez, who appeared in this week’s Night City Wire livestream, is the Mox leader in Cyberpunk 2077. If you’ve already seen her, you’ll know she has pretty cool ink – including a tattoo Tasteful radioheads that I, personally, have considered showing up at least 10 times.
It’s not the easiest tattoo to find, but people on Reddit caught it pretty quickly after the release of Night City Wire.
Under his tattoo 13, there is the script in italics. It reads “there was nothing to fear, nothing to doubt”, which is a replica of Pyramid Song by Radiohead, taken from their album Amnesiac (which also includes bangers like You And Whose Army? And Knives Out).
It should be mentioned that Pyramid Song was released in 2001, which means that he is 76 years old in Cyberpunk 2077. It is essentially like getting a tattoo of a word from Ella Fitzgerald or Nat King Cole in 2020, which is pretty cool.
You can listen to Pyramid Song below, if you’re curious. I think this is one of the best songs from Radiohead, and it has a place in virtually every playlist I’ve ever made.
In related news, something incredibly important has recently been confirmed: it turns out that you can pet the cat in Cyberpunk 2077. There is no information yet on dog petting, but at least there is guaranteed that we can have at least one pet in Night City. Cats are cool.
