A motorcyclist died and another person suffered serious injuries following a collision between a motorcycle and a passenger car, last Friday night, in Âncora, in the municipality of Caminha.
The circumstances of the accident that cut National Road 13 are still unknown.
The firefighters from Vila Praia de Âncora, Firefighters from Caminha and the VMER from Barcelos were present at the site.
From what O MINHO found, an INEM helicopter was activated for eventual transport of the most serious victim to a hospital unit, but it was aborted, because the victim ended up dying while still on the spot.
The alert was given at 22:56.
The seriously injured person will be transported to the Hospital de Braga while the dead victim’s corpse will be taken to Viana’s medico-legal office.
The GNR is investigating the causes of the accident.
