Last day, 1473 Covid-19 tests were performed in Latvia and three new cases were registered, according to information compiled by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC). All three patients returned from abroad.

On Thursday, one person in the 90-95 age group who had contacted a relative who had returned from abroad died in Latvia.
So far, a total of 198,508 examinations have been performed in Latvia, 1,261 persons have become ill and 1,052 have recovered. 32 Covid-19 patients died.
Data from the National Health Service show that no new patients with Covid-19 have been hospitalized in the last 24 hours. Four patients are currently being treated in hospitals, all with a moderate course of the disease. So far, 191 patients have been discharged from the hospital.
