The site of the state news agency of Russia – TASS was hacked. On the main page there is a message:
“Dear citizens, we urge you not to send your sons and husbands to certain death. Putin is forcing us to lie and threatening us. They have isolated us from all over the world, stopped buying oil and gas. In a few years we will live like in North Korea. What do we need this for? To get Putin in the textbooks? This is not our war, it’s his. “
Below this text is a logo with the number 5300 and clarification that these are the Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine in four days, which is more than in the first Chechen war in 1994-1996.
“This message will be deleted, and some of us will be fired or even imprisoned. But we can no longer. Indifferent Russian journalists,” reads the caption on the TASS page.
