Today, Wednesday, the birthday of the artist Hanan Al-Taweel is known for her many secondary works, perhaps the most prominent of which is the movie “The Nazer” with the artist Alaa Wali Al-Din and the movie “Askar in the camp” with Mohamed Henedy.
Hanan Al-Taweel lived a life full of conflict, violence, and criticism, before she became a woman, where she lived in the name of “Tariq” and remained trapped in her female tendencies and her male appearance until she decided to turn into a female, which caused psychological disturbances until her life ended in the madhouse Without knowing the real reason, is it suicide, electric shock, or just a heart attack that ended her suffering as it was reported immediately after her death on December 1, 2004.
Before Hanan Al-Taweel had undergone the process of sexual transformation she was living in the name of “Tariq” and she was marginalized by the society in which she was living and no one accepted her, so she decided during her many travel trips to Arab countries, to conduct a process in one of her to turn into the famous movie star Hanan Al-Tawil.
“Hanan” returned to the new shape of her family, who embraced her and was not angry at her decision, perhaps because of their knowledge of her long suffering in denying her body as a man.
Hanan Al-Taweel started her dream by joining one of the performing arts teams, which qualified her to work and join the Syndicate of Musical Professions, after her success in all the performance experiments, because of the wide area of her voice that she was able to harness in the performance of all classes.
Despite her success as a singer, she entered the field of the world of cinema, in 1999 when she performed a single scene in the movie “Abboud on the Borders”, as one of the hairdressers clients, whose artist Ahmed Helmy was burned, to pay attention to her director Sharif Arafa, who nominated her for the movie “The Beholder”.
