The president of the Superior Council of the Judiciary, Diana Alexandra Remolina, confirmed that as of July 1 the legal terms are lifted in all processesHowever, there will be no attention to the public. As explained by the official, priority is given to work from home for all judicial workers and the implementation of virtual tools for the reactivation of processes will be intensified.

“The Superior Council of the Judiciary meeting since Wednesday and taking the final decision today, ratifies that from next July 1 the suspension of terms in the country with two exceptions“explained the official, who also spoke about the measures that should be taken when it is necessary for a person to visit a judicial headquarters.

“In case it is required to provide the service in person, visitors must arrive with an appointment, with a shift to enter and in authorized periods to enter the offices, the Superior Council maintains the rule that the judicial servants continue working from home and it is reiterated that when it is necessary in a presence way, only 20% of the servers can reach the judicial headquarters, “explained Diana Alexandra Remolina.

However, the official confirmed two exceptions to this new measure, the first has to do with the Constitutional Court since there the terms will continue suspended until July 30. Likewise, Diana Alexandra Remolina confirmed that the dispatches in Amazonas maintain the suspension of terms.

Finally Remolina explained that with these decisions the Superior Council of the Judiciary guarantees the justice service for all Colombians.
