OM sale: Ajroudi says more about the investors in his project – Interview

The enigma remains intact. Although having spoken on numerous occasions, like its future president Mourad Boudjellal, Mohamed Ajroudi keeps the mystery of the funds that will accompany his family in the project to buy Olympique de Marseille.

In a long interview for Provence, the Tunisian businessman spoke to the investors about his proposed takeover: “It’s a good round table, largely completed, otherwise we would not have advanced. I can tell you that I had demand until Wednesday morning. It will surprise everyone“. Then he will add firmly thatAl Walid Ben Talal is not part of the OM takeover project. But on the presence of the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed ben Salmane, he was more evasive: “At the right time you will discover everything“.

Finally, he refused the idea of integrating state funds into his round table. “Some SWFs want and ask for that, but they are fighting enough in the region. Bahrain wants to be part of it, for example. We want tolerance, I am not here to create the battle between Qatar and Saudi Arabia. We are far from it all“.

To date, we know very little about Mohamed Ajroudi’s project, except a few men from the future organization chart like Mourad Boudjellal or Louis Acariès. We also know that the project revolves around the power of the Mediterranean and that Mohamed Ajroudi would be fully part of the investors. But for the rest, all of this is still very vague.
