OM demands life sentence against Iliass K. for two liquidations and murdered | Inland

Seven co-defendants heard sentences ranging from 4 to 25 years against themselves. The OM requested acquittal for a ninth suspect.

The extensive criminal trial against the alleged members of what the Public Prosecution Service called “a professional and tightly managed organization” revolves around the 2014 murders of Alex Gillis (30) in Zaandam, the notorious murder of the 30-year-old Stefan Regalo Eggermont in Zaandam. Amsterdam and the liquidation of Massod Amin Hosseini (26) in Amsterdam-Osdorp.

The gang – which emerged from the organization of criminal Gwenette Martha, who was self-liquidated in 2014 – is also linked to two unfinished murders in 2014 and 2015. According to the Public Prosecution Service, it is established that the organization was “hunting several people at the same time.” For example, there would have been at least four other targets. The prosecution said the gang operated “with a recklessness and unscrupulousness beyond comprehension.”

Iliass K. played a central role in the organization. He was the link between commissioners and executors, accepted murder orders, had them carried out and showed “no respect” for the lives of the victims, according to the OM. “With the ‘three cold murders’ he ordered, K. ‘forfeited his right to freedom,’ said the prosecutor.
