The Grammy statuettes became too heavy for Olivia Rodrigo (19), who ended up smashing one. Her great role model did 12 years ago.

Olivia Rodrigo won three statuettes below Grammy Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday, but when she had to pose with all the prizes afterwards, things went wrong.
One trophy fell out of her arms and fell to the ground with a bang – and cracked in two. Huffington Post has a picture of the broken statuette and the startled prize winner.
A photographer in the crowd around the star, jokingly comforted with:
– It’s fine, we’re just putting it on your bill.
Rodrigo has not commented on the incident publicly, but she has posted a thank you photo Instagramapparently taken before the accident.
The “Drivers License” artist is not the first to experience that the accident is out. Rodrigo, who has been open about Taylor Swift (32) being one of her biggest sources of inspiration, experienced the same thing on The 2010 Grammy Awards.
–Swift won a full four awards 12 years ago, and thus had even more to keep track of.
Another big star who has cracked the high-hanging trophy is Adele (33). In 2017, she lost the Grammy statuette on the floor on stage, in the middle of the live broadcast, right after she had been handed it.
Adele took the incident in the mood and waved joyfully with the ruined gem:
