The response of the people in Ioannina to the humanitarian aid mission for the flood victims of Thessaly was great. The mobilisation, awareness and response of the people to this call to action was particularly moving.
The local community of Ioannina once again showed its solidarity and humanity. The “O.K.P.A.P.A.” of the Municipality of Ioannito collected the necessary items at the facilities of the Social Grocery Store of “OKPAPA” at KEPAVI.
OKPAPA would like to especially thank all the citizens, institutions, associations and also the businesses of Ioannina who rushed to contribute to this effort. He also thanks the Region of Epirus for helping to transport the specific items to their destination and all those who helped organize and coordinate the action. Finally, “O.K.P.A.P.A.” declares that it will continue to be a valuable helper and supporter to our fellow human beings in need.
