The Financial Services Authority (OJK) officially revoked the business license of PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) Usaha Madani Karya Mulia in Solo. The business license has been officially revoked since February 5 2024.
This decree was officially released based on the Decree of the Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority Number KEP-18/D.03/2024 concerning the Revocation of the Business License of PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Usaha Madani Karya Mulia which is located at Jalan Bhayangkara No. 13, Ex. Sriwedari, District. Laweyan, Surakarta City, Central Java Province.
OJK officially stated that the BPR office was closed to the public. Companies are also prohibited from carrying out any business activities.
“In connection with the revocation of PT BPR Usaha Madani Karya Mulia’s business license, it is hereby announced that the PT BPR Usaha Madani Karya Mulia office is closed to the public and PT BPR Usaha Madani Karya Mulia has stopped all its business activities,” said the OJK in its statement, Thursday (15/ 2/2024).
OJK also stated that companies must resolve their rights and obligations to their customers to be carried out by the Liquidation Team which will be formed by the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) in accordance with applicable regulations and legislation.
“The Board of Directors, Board of Commissioners, or Owners of PT BPR Usaha Madani Karya Mulia are prohibited from taking any legal action related to BPR assets and liabilities except with written approval from LPS,” concluded the OJK statement.
