The transfer from Andres Andrade to Wolfsberger AC is now officially history!
As the Lavanttaler announced on Saturday, the left-back must return to LASK due to the lack of eligibility to play.
The exact reason for the failure of the deal: Already in autumn, the Panama kicked at the Upper Austria Juniors in the HPYBET 2nd division and even made his debut in a Bundesliga campaign for the LASK. Since the Juniors are run as an independent club, Andrade has played for two different clubs, which means that a third club is not allowed to play in one season.
This regulation was decided by the Bundesliga and the clubs and has been valid since summer 2019.
On Thursday, the 21-year-old was presented as a new addition to league competitor LASK. The deal would have envisaged a lending deal through summer and a call option.
