The Spain national football team has received a new manager. They became Luis de la Fuente, who previously worked with the Under-21 youth national team.
We recall that today the Royal Spanish Football Federation notified the resignation of former team coach Luis Enrique.
Luis Enrique, 52, has been in Spain since the summer of 2018. Under his leadership, the team played in the semi-finals of Euro 2020, where they lost on penalties to the Italian team.
The reason for the change in the technical bridge was probably Spain’s sensational defeat against Morocco on penalties in the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup.
