Official: they reduce the days of isolation for people who have the two doses of the vaccine

The Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, confirmed that they recommended to the provinces to reduce the days of isolation of people who have the complete vaccination scheme. The details of the new measures will be implemented by the jurisdictions, which are in different epidemiological stages of the pandemic.

As he specified, the recommendation – debated this morning at a meeting of the Federal Health Council – is as follows:

Asymptomatic close contacts with two doses of the vaccine: They should be isolated for five days and care should be maximized for five days after leaving the confinement.

Asymptomatic close contacts with a dose of the vaccine or no vaccine: they must remain isolated for 10 days.

Positive cases with two vaccines: They should be isolated for 7 days and care should be maximized for three days after leaving the confinement.

Positive cases with a dose of the vaccine or no vaccine: 10 days of isolation.
