NYSE Mixed Opening as US Inflation Rate Decreases to 3.1%

The NYSE opened mixed on Tuesday, without much enthusiasm for the data inflation that confirm a decrease in the rate that, however, remains higher than the Federal Reserve would like.

In the first exchanges the Dow Jones earned 0.10%, the technological Nasdaq remained stable (-0.01%) and the expanded S&P 500 index lost 0.10%.

The inflation fell slightly in November in USA standing at 3.1% for 12 months, compared to the 3.2% registered the previous month, according to the consumer price index (IPC) published on Tuesday by the work Department.

He IPC increased slightly in one month, 0.1%, barely above analysts’ expectations, while the inflation core – which excludes volatile food and energy prices – remained stable compared to October, at 4.0% in one year, the lowest record in more than two years.
