Nursing staff at the Dr. Luis Ortega Hospital in Nueva Esparta required biosafety equipment to protect themselves from covid-19.
This Friday at night, the nurses demanded that the authorities responsible for the care center have the necessary implements for the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic. However, they received no answers.
“We have more than a month in this situation. They do not give us the security barriers to be able to attend to the users who attend this institution. We have seen the deputy director walk through the corridors of the hospital and nobody has paid attention to us.
