Assist in direct patient care, perform clerical/receptionist duties, and act as a patient liaison as directed by a Registered Nurse.
Job Requirements:
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Skills:
- Data entry
- Ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of the patient population in the ED
- Team player
- Multi-tasking
- Ability to effectively handle a high stress environment
Required License/Certifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent from an accredited institution required
- NAI and phlebotomy certification from an accredited institution OR possession of NA I and NA II certification
- Emergency Medical Technician licensed in North Carolina preferred
- BLS required, or obtained during first week of hire
