The 18-year-old midfielder was part of the eagles squad that won the Youth League
Benfica announced this Tuesday the renewal of midfielder Nuno Félix, an 18-year-old who is in his 7th season at the service of the eagles. “It’s been a pride since the first day that I represent Benfica. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world and it’s a pride for any player to be able to represent Benfica”, said the player to the official media of the reds. The midfielder, who assumed that his goal is to “play in the first team”, was part of the squad that won the Youth League and the National Junior Championship.
“He is a true athlete. Very responsible, he stands out for his dedication and talent in all dimensions of the game. Throughout his training journey, he played in various positions in the central aisle, as a result of his game intelligence and discipline to fulfill the his missions. It is in the middle sector that he manages to demonstrate all his ability to play. He is naturally recognized by his peers, his leadership characteristics of the group, contributing to a very positive atmosphere in the team, basing his work on strong values of sacrifice , team spirit and mutual help”, stressed Filipe Coelho, coach of Benfica’s youth team A, to the club’s official website.
