Numerous tourism employees in the Austrian holiday resort infected

D.The number of corona infections in several tourism companies in St. Wolfgang in Upper Austria has risen to at least 44. According to media reports from Sunday night, the victims are mostly white-collar workers, but the virus was also found in a holidaymaker. Most infected people are interns.

Alois Lanz, the district captain of Gmunde, said: “We cannot say with certainty whether the infection took place in the neighborhoods where they live, sleep and eat together, or in certain restaurants.” Some of the interns were in the two Night clubs “13er Haus” and “W3”. Both companies will initially remain closed over the weekend.
