According to the Sciensano virologist, it only becomes worrying when the number of hospital admissions and deaths also increases again. “We are still seeing a downward trend there,” he says. “If they did rise, you know there’s more going on.” An average of 15 people were hospitalized in the past seven days. That is 15 percent less than the previous seven days.
