Nuclear submarine deal announcement tomorrow; Australian Prime Minister in America; Huge job opportunities are coming

California: Reports that 20,000 new jobs will be created in Australia as part of the OCAS alliance of the United States, Britain and Australia. Australia is building nuclear submarines with the support of the United States and Britain as part of a defense deal aimed at countering China. As part of this, there will be an announcement by the Prime Minister tomorrow that there will be a huge progress in the field of employment in the country in the next 30 years.

Anthony Albanese currently resides in San Diego, California, USA. The details related to the nuclear submarine construction agreement will be announced tomorrow by American President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Anthony Albanese.

It is not clear how many nuclear submarines will be built domestically, but huge jobs will be created in Australia in industry, defense and public services. 8,500 people will be directly employed to build the submarines. The submarines are manufactured in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.

Defense Minister Richard Marles said the deal would be one of the greatest projects in Australia’s history. The minister did not specify how much the project will cost over the next thirty years, and the prime minister will reveal more details about the project tomorrow.

After the announcement, the government will also consider how to attract skilled workers in nuclear submarine construction. Experts say there is an urgent need to train and upskill Australians to fill the labor shortage in the sector.

Martin Hamilton-Smith, director of the Australian Sovereign Capability Alliance, said Australia needed to train and upskill its domestic workforce. Building nuclear submarines is more complicated than building space vehicles.

Given the current shortage of engineers, Engineers Australia member Jane McMaster said the government should develop a targeted workforce plan to ensure there are enough skilled workers. For this, skilled migrants or consultants are brought into the country for short periods. She added that more engineers will have to be trained through postgraduate courses.
