TIKTOK announced a series of upcoming changes to its mobile app. Included in the update is an increase in resolution.
One of the main changes that will be rolling out in certain countries is the option to upload in 1080p.
So when uploading a video, users will see More options and can select Upload HD to enable upload in 1080p.
The Chinese app now also allows the use of the Green Screen effect over GIFs.
Users can vote for their GIFs through partners TikTok GIPHY and then overlay their video on top of the GIF using the Green Screen effect.

The new Visual Enhancement feature improves video image quality with just one tap. It can however make basic changes including exposure compensation, color correction, and low-light enhancement on videos uploaded from the gallery.
