FC Twente has managed to retain Wout Brama for good. The midfielder signed a new contract on Monday, which means he will be in the Grolsch Veste until 2021.
There was a lot to do for Brama in recent months. He could no longer go through a door with former trainer Gonzalo García and club icon Sander Boschker also spoke to him in a conversation with the supporters. The new trainer Ron Jans expressed support towards Brama shortly after his appointment and hoped that he would stay. That happened: Brama signs for one season.

After one year with the Australian Central Coast Mariners, Brama returned to the Netherlands to help the recently relegated Twente. He had an important role in the promotion year, but hardly played in the following year. He only acted nine times. García even put him in the stands.
