Nordisk Games buys the game studio Supermassive Games

Nordisk Film, which is part of Egmont, owns several digital companies, including the entertainment company Nordisk Games.

It is now clear that Nordisk Games is buying just over a third, 30 percent, of the English game studio Supermassive Games. It appears from a press release.

Nordisk Games already owns eight European computer game companies, three of which are Swedish; Avalanche Studios Group, Star Stable Entertainment and Raw Fury.

The Supermassive Games, located in Guildford just southwest of London, currently employs 200 people. The game studio was founded in 2008 and two of the games they are behind are “Until Dawn” and “The Dark Picture Anthology”.

– We are very happy about the collaboration with Nordisk Games. Our companies share a passion for delivering beautiful games with engaging stories and we look forward to working closely with them and their colleagues at Nordisk Film and Egmont, says Pete Samuels, CEO of Supermassive Games in a press release.
