Singer Noémie Brosset, aka Nomi-Nomi, is back in Charlieu, her hometown, to present her new musical show for young audiences, Nomi-Nomi at the Galactic Opéra. Meet on Wednesday, December 27, at 5 p.m., at the Saint-Philibert theater, to see Nomi-Nomi and her accomplice Toni-Toni set off to discover an opera house lost in the intergalactic universe.
A dream opera
Over the course of delicate and mischievous songs, she will recount the wonder of the show that awaits her: the backstage and the makeup, the prima ballerina, the lighting technicians and even the vacuum cleaner from the cleaning company…
With this show, Nomi-Nomi pays homage to live performance and the places that bring it to life. “The stage is the marvelous place where life plays out before our eyes. It is to this magical place that I want to take children and parents together,” explains the artist who has therefore invented a dream opera for the occasion, a mixture of music, dance, theater and science fiction. “The idea was to create a wonderful and poetic universe, without forgetting the comedy that continues to guide me,” she continues.
Magical, minimalist, thrilling, this show within a show is directed by another talented local child, Régis Maynard. “Nomi-Nomi writes songs for children but the poetry and quality of her compositions mean that when Noémie Brosset asks you to direct her latest show, we know that we are going to put a three-stage rocket into orbit : the children’s floor, the parents’ floor, the floor where everyone meets,” explains the director.
Galactic Opera is a hybrid show that will please young and old alike.
