The new Nokia phones are cell phones and smartphones.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The company that holds the license for Nokia mobile devices, HMD Global, is preparing to announce two new mobile phones in India. This was revealed by the official Twitter account Nokia Mobile India in an upload that includes a short 16 second video.
The video shows that one of these cell phones is a cell phone. While the others are smartphones.
“We have a pleasant surprise in the near future #Nokiamonile #StayTuned,” tweeted @NokiamobileIN, Saturday (22/8).
HMD Global Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas also shared a different teaser video on his Twitter account showing the two phones. The video on the phone says “voice call today”, while the smartphone says “video call tomorrow.”
“Dear fans in India, look forward to a new wave that will change the digital landscape of India with @NokiamobileIN #CoomingSoon,” grandson @sarvikas, Sunday (23/8).
Quoted from the Gizmochina page, it is most likely that the smartphone is the Nokia C3, while the identity of the cellphone is not yet known but is expected to carry 4G. The Nokia C3 is a first floor device launched in China earlier this month. The phone has a 5.99-inch HD + display, processor, UNISOC, 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM.
There’s an 8MP camera on the back of the phone along with an LED light and fingerprint scanner, as well as a 5MP camera on the front for selfies. The device is packed with a 3040mAh battery which can be removed and charged via the MicroUSB port.
