“Noa Isidore claims victory in Stage 2 of Alpes Isère Tour, Jordan Habets keeps leader’s tunic”

This time, the breakaway did not go all the way for this 2nd stage of the Alpes Isère Tour drawn between Saint-André-le-Gaz and Four. Unlike the day before in Charvieu-Chavagneux where the Dutchman Jordan Habets had won by sprinting his breakaway companions.

After having swallowed Gabriel Fede (AG2R Citroën U23), Yaël Joalland (CIC U Nantes Atlantique) and Truls Nordhagen (Uno-X Dare Development), the attacks followed one another in the peloton in the final without a rider managing to make the difference.

It was finally the Frenchman Noa Isidore (CIC U Nantes Atlantique) who won in the sprint thanks to a bike throw ahead of the Czech Dominik Neuman (Elkov – Kasper) and the Belgian Aaron Dockx (Alpecin-Deceuninck Development).

Leader of the general after his victory the day before, but only 17th this Thursday, Jordan Habets retains his leader’s tunic.
