16. in April, Ville Valo, the leader of the Finnish cult group “HIM”, performed with a completely sold-out concert in Riga, in the “Palladium” concert hall, who released his solo album “Neon Noir” in 2023 and now announces himself as VV. And even though there are no more smoking cigarettes on stage, Valo is still on fire!
The name of the gothic rock and “love metal” group “HIM” does not require comments – it gained world fame in the late 90s and operated until 2017, when it announced the end of its existence. Despite this, Ville Valo continues to perform a number of HIM songs on his solo tour.
Valo previously told TVNET that he was pleasantly surprised that people are still interested in the music he makes.
Last year he performed 120 concerts and this year he continues his concert tour with another 30. Even in the golden days of “HIM”, his concert schedule was not so full. Latvian fans could also experience it with their own eyes on the evening of April 16.
