As actress Rosario Dawson revealed at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo, “The Punisher” will also be continued. Dawson has appeared as nurse Claire Temple in numerous Netflix Marvel productions, except for The Punisher. But apparently she now has the chance to change that. Whether Jon Bernthal, who played Frank Castle perfectly, will also return has not yet been confirmed. However, it makes perfect sense since Bernthal is now one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actors and Marvel certainly doesn’t want to pass up this opportunity.
Bernthal became known through “The Walking Dead”, where he met an inglorious end as the short-tempered Shane Walsh. He subsequently directed The Wolf of Wall Street with Martin Scorsese and appeared in acclaimed films such as The Accountant, Wind River, LeMans 66 and Sicario.
In addition to Daredevil: Born Again, Marvel Studios has unveiled a host of other projects, including two new Avengers films, Captain America 4, Blade and Fantastic Four. Next, Bruce Banner’s cousin will cause a sensation as “She-Hulk” in the MCU. You can see the trailer for it here:
