No imprisonment or fine.. A free man, Menna Arafa, is seeking help from Ashraf Zaki

Ignoring the sentence passed against him in the case of insulting and defaming the captain of the acting professions, his wife and several artists, Mahmoud Al-Mahdi, the ex-husband of the artist, Menna Arafa, revealed a financial crisis he is going through due to his differences with the artist, Ashraf Zaki.

Mahmoud Al-Mahdi explained that he has produced two films in addition to his participation in a film produced by a Libyan company, and these films are prohibited from showing due to his participation.

His films are banned from screening

Al-Mahdi also confirmed that he had recently tried to reconcile with Dr. Ashraf Zaki, mediated by Massad Fouda, the captain of film professions, and came out in a video to apologize to him, but this did not end the differences from Ashraf Zaki, who hinted to those close to him that the ban on showing films is due to the presence of Mahmoud Al-Mahdi with it, and that preventing him from acting is irreversible after his abuse of actors.

Divorcee Menna Arafa, who shot to fame after their partnership, has enlisted the intervention of officials to help him screen suspended films in order to lessen his financial losses.

As well as preventing damage to the Libyan production company, stressing that it will retire from art afterwards.

A prison sentence and bail

Interestingly, Mahmoud Al-Mahdi ignored the talk about the sentence passed against him a few days ago with imprisonment for a period of two months, a financial guarantee of 1,000 pounds and a fine of 20,000 pounds, in case of insulting and slandering the artist Ashraf Zaki and his wife, the artist Rogina, and forcing him to pay a £40,000 interim civil settlement.

Nor did he indicate in his speech his position on obtaining the necessary permits for cinematographic production and representation, which are the necessary conditions to allow films to be shown inside cinemas.

This sentence is the third handed down against Mahmoud Al-Mahdi, against the backdrop of his recent crisis with artist Ashraf Zaki and his exposure to abuse.
