Sunday late afternoon, in Quaregnon, the Nivellois are very conquering and they leave their mark on the first quarter with a solid 12-23. All the planets are well aligned so far but a hat-trick on the perimeter from Mathias Mantannus will put the Nivellois on the mat for the first time. The Borains took advantage of this to get back to 30-37 at the break.
In itself, nothing serious because Nivelles still has a small amount of points to resume the match. This viaticum will not last long, however, because Mantannus continues his festival at the perimeter. Unable to defend and score, Nivelles goes to the mat again and thus sees his opponent equalize after half an hour at 51 all.
In the last quarter, the Nivellois will be definitively knocked out by the overexcited Borains. “We weren’t ready to play this game, plagues the Nivelles coach Teo Alexandridis. It’s almost a black Christmas for us, and there will be no holiday. We have to work hard to be ready for the second part of the championship.”
With this setback, the third, Nivelles is therefore not doing the right thing and remains stuck behind Oostkamp and United Woluwe which goes to the top of the championship in the number of matches played.
