It remains for the artist Nisreen to appeal the ruling within a period of 10 days, in accordance with the text of Article 406 of the Code of Procedure, which stipulates: The appeal shall be made by a report in the clerks’ office of the court that issued the ruling within ten days from the date of pronouncing the ruling in the presence or announcing the ruling in absentia, or from the date of the ruling. Issued in opposition in cases where this is permissible.

While a legal source confirmed that it is permissible for someone who has been sentenced to imprisonment for misdemeanors to submit an appeal after 10 days have passed in the event of an illness accompanied by a medical report.

The Public Prosecution assigned Nisreen Tafesh in the Sheikh Zayed District Office on January 30, 2023, to have issued a check in bad faith in favor of the victim, Nashwa Safaa El-Din, for an amount of 4 million pounds.

It is noteworthy that the court, in its session on June 26, 2023, in absentia, imprisoned the accused for three years with labor and provided a bail of twenty thousand pounds to temporarily stop the implementation of the sentence.
