In lack of playing time on the side of Strasbourg, Moataz Zamzam made the choice to descend from a division and join the project of Niort in Ligue 2. The Tunisian international is gaining momentum and has found his place within the collective led by Sébastien Desabre. « What I absolutely wanted was to have playing time. Because I said to myself: “This is my year”. When I saw that I wouldn’t have what I want in Strasbourg, I looked for something else. This year, I have to play no matter what. Things are going well with Niort. I am proving myself, showing that I am capable of being part of this group. I didn’t have much time to get my bearings when I arrived in August, and despite everything the club trusted me straight away. It allows me to play my game and be comfortable on the pitch. »
