Evening surprises. Utah, the Lakers and Philadelphia (admittedly at a client) all lost Saturday night in the NBA, while the New York Knicks continued their streak by signing a ninth victory in a row against the Raptors (120-103).
For the leader of the Western Conference, the defeat is particularly unexpected: the Jazz, certainly without Donovan Mitchell, cracked at home against Minnesota, fourteenth and already eliminated from the race for the play-offs (96-101).

The defending champions have for their part been corrected (108-93) by Dallas, a third defeat in a row which places them under the threat of their executioner, sixth in the West with two victories less than the Lakers. Portland is just behind. At stake: a direct qualification for the playoffs (a play-in is organized between the teams classified from 7th to 10th place).
The Sixers lacked good people
As for Philadelphia, which had the opportunity to pick up in Brooklyn at the top of the Eastern Conference, Doc Rivers’ team was humiliated by Milwaukee (132-94). Deprived of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, the Sixers remain second but see the Bucks (third) approaching two wins.
Just behind Milwaukee in the East, the Knicks confirmed their sparkling form by winning a ninth straight game at home against Toronto (120-103). This is their best streak of victories since the 2012-2013 season, during which they had lined up thirteen successes.
