Nintendo today released a firmware update for the Nintendo Switch.
Version 12.1.0 of the system was made available with improvements in data management in internal memory or microSD in case of lack of space for new downloads. Joy-Con has also received a firmware update.

Added the following system functionality:
- If there is not enough space remaining on the system memory (internal storage) or on the microSD card when downloading the game software update data, you can now delete the old data from that software, allowing you to download the new data.
- When deleting old dice, you will not be able to play until the new dice download is complete.
General system stability improvements were made to improve the user experience.
