The NPO Radio 1 program Our Man in Deventer has again won the Nachtwacht Award for best night program. The show received the most votes from the public, was announced today in the NPO Radio 2 program The State of Stasse.

The interview program Our Man in Deventer, in which ‘Eus’ interviews a guest weekly from his living room, was preferred over Eddie’s Night Watch (NPO Radio 2), Danny Blom (Radio 538), Rick van Velthuysen (NPO Radio 2) and the VPRO program NEver More Sleep van NPO Radio 1.

Akyol also won the award in 2019, when the professional media platform Talkbuis.nl handed out the award for the first time. In 2020 Martijn Kolkman (Qmusic) won and last year the Omroep MAX program won night mood by Astrid de Jong.
