The hiring of Nicolas de la Cruz for R$79 million, confirmed by GE, is the fourth most expensive in Brazilian history. It is only behind the purchases of Gérson (R$92 million), Pedro and Éverton Cebolinha (R$87 million).
Gabigol (R$78 million) and De Arrascaeta (R$63 million) are close behind, in fifth and sixth place in the ranking of the most expensive deals of all time in the Brazilian market.
In the list of the ten biggest purchases, Flamengo also occupies ninth and tenth place. Gérson, the record holder for the amount paid to Olympique de Marseille, in 2023, appears again in ninth place for the R$49.7 million paid to Roma, in 2019. Vitinho cost R$44 million, paid to CSKA in 2018. He is the tenth most expensive.
