Nick Kyrgios uploaded a video of Roger Federer destroying a racquet and suggested people talk about his racquet shots just because the media talks a lot about it every time.
During the 2009 Miami Masters, Roger Federer broke his racquet during a match against Novak Djokovic. Kyrgios, who is no stranger to destroying racquets on the court, has often been criticized following some of his actions on the court.
“No one would think Federer broke a racquet because it’s not all the media hahaha – even GOATs freak out“, Kyrgios captioned on his Instagram post.
Kyrgios was fined $14,000 at the US Open
Moments after suffering a heartbreaking five-set loss to Karen Khachanov in the 2022 US Open quarter-final, Kyrgios destroyed two racquets.
