As we told you this Friday (see brief 5:28 p.m.), OGC Nice owner Jim Ratcliffe has made an offer to buy Chelsea. In an official press release, the boss of the Ineos group wanted to reassure Aiglons fans.
“The INEOS group confirms that it has made an offer for the acquisition of the Chelsea club. We do not know at the moment if we will succeed in our approach, but we wish to reassure everyone involved in OGC Nice. This does not diminish our commitment to the Gym. I live near Nice and I remain totally immersed and committed to the success of the club. And I am delighted that, under the leadership of Christophe Galtier, we have reached the final of the Coupe de France “I will be there with the ambition that we lift this trophy. We brought Christophe to OGC Nice to win and that objective has not changed. I want to see us play in the European Cup next season, and I can assure you that we will continue to take care of the club and its future.”
