Athletes from its three teams are due to return to their respective team’s facilities shortly, with NFL training camps kicking off at the end of the month.

“We have an exclusion for essential travel, and a professional sports team would qualify for that exclusion,” New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy told the Daily New York Daily News.

“With New York and Connecticut, we asked people who came from a hot spot to quarantine themselves for 14 days and get tested. A 14-day quarantine doesn’t work in an NFL schedule, ”added the politician whose state hosts the Jets and Giants for their clashes. “So we will at least have screening. If anyone has symptoms or has already tested positive, I hope they don’t get on the plane. ”

Murphy also revealed that he and his colleagues will soon be looking at how many spectators will be accepted into stadiums in their states.
